In Jodoji Garden designed in the end of Edo period, the drawing which expressed just after the completion has remained. Before the restoration, thickly covered scrub was hiding the original stream and stones which used to be in the drawing. Under the cooperation of Mr. Kanji Nomura, the Gardening Researcher, it was restored by pruning trees, giving back the blown-away soil and restoring the fallen stone arrangements. Though we can recognize the small deformation in the drawing, it was restored as original. As we can enjoy the beautiful garden, the picture is eventually more appreciated.
